Whether we realize it or not, we are all being “wooed” and sought after…
Simply stated, #ValentinesDay and the nuances of love expressions can NEVER COMPETE with God’s pursuit of us.

It’s a beautiful thing actually…
From the moment God created us in His image (Genesis 1:26)…
From the moment God “covered” mankind after they chose a lying serpent over their beautiful garden home… (Genesis 3:21)…
From the moment God promised to build a nation through the childless, barren couple Abraham + Sarah (Genesis 12)…
From the moment God freed this very same nation (Israel) from the hand of a wicked and evil Pharaoh by parting the Red Sea (Exodus 14)…
From the moment God provided, guided, and steered the nation of Israel to safety and they still complained constantly about their “new journey” in the desert (Exodus 16)…
From the moment God led the nation of Israel into the Promised Land and then they chose to “do what was right in their own eyes” (Books of Joshua + Judges)…
From the moment God sent His son to provide hope to a world that has been spiraling out of control (John 3:16-17)…
GOD has ALWAYS been the ONE who desires and pursues us ABOVE ALL…
And although many will resort to or even long for Valentine’s Day dinner dates, Zoom get-togethers, chocolate candy, flowers, Netflix Nights, and a variety of loving gestures (perfectly normal behavior 😊)—-there is still something so much more deeper and lasting…

The LORD really does LOVE us…
We can be reminded of this when we open our eyes in the morning and witness a fresh and new day…
We can be reminded of this when we wash our beautiful faces — the blemish, mole, beauty mark, full lips, thin lips, slanted eyes, wide eyes, full nose, thin nose, or whatever…
We can be reminded of this when we encounter the good, the bad, the ugliest, or most victorious moments of the day….
The LORD really does LOVE us…
So whether you’re married, engaged, dating, or single – tell the Lord, thank you… Thank you, Lord, for loving me beyond measure, without conditions, unfailing and never ceasing, and absolutely forever…

John 3:16–17
”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son – Jesus, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

Romans 10:9–10
Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
