Goals: Crossing the Finish Line

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” – Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

My family was in turmoil when I was forced to remove my daughter from school last year. The severe bullying took its toll on us and homeschooling was our only option.

And as we wrap up the 2022-2023 school year, I can’t help but to reflect upon the goodness of God. Despite the cutbacks in my workload/income, shift in lifestyle, and constant uncertainty — I would have it no other way. My daughter needed me and the rewards have far outweighed the losses we took.

I realize that each and every one of our families will experience pivotal moments where we will need to make the TOUGH decisions and execute the actions that will help us cross the finish line of carrying those decisions out.

But the transition doesn’t have to take us out and down in the process…

Because we can:

Go to God in constant prayer about our concerns, fears, and low points.

Ask for and receive help when needed. A good support system is key.

Switch up routines, pause intentionally, and continue to enjoy life — despite the reality of challenges.

Yes, we can continue to #live !!!

Our homeschooling year in review

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, caregivers, teachers, mentors, etc. You are so loved and treasured by GOD!

It’s been THREE whole years since I released this reflective journal. Today, it’s still so dear to my heart and I personally complete one at least once per year. Want a copy? Desire to gift it to someone? CLICK ON THE PIC below.
